You have the good fortune to spend one million U. S. dollars in Mrs. Hammer’s class! Can you do it? Let me tell you how to spend it and how to make a good grade too! Use the following guidelines:
· Use a notebook of some type (i.e., pages stapled together in book form, a 3-ring binder, see through folder, etc.)
· The following pages must be included:
o Cover Page: This should include (a) your title, (b) your name, and (c) a creative design as to how you spend your one million dollars.
o Table of Contents: This should have the following subheadings and include all of the appropriate information:
§ Item Page Number Money Spent
o Individual Pages: This should have a page heading, pictures of your “purchases”, price of items, and resources you used to determine this price. If pictures are unavailable, you may draw your purchase. Don’t forget to include page numbers since these are needed for your Table of Contents.
o Conclusion Page: Here you should explain what you learned and what you liked or disliked about the project. Also, give yourself a self-assessment grade.
My grading criteria will include (a) visual presentation, (b)organization, (c) ability to spend as close to but not over one million dollars on many items, and (d) conclusion summary.
Project Due Date: November 5th
Good luck! I hope you enjoy the “problems” of being a wealthy person. May you have this dilemma in your adult life!
